PACIFIC SHORE FISHING IN TODOS SANTOS
Shore fishing in Todos Santos is a different way to experience the ocean.
Instead of going out on a boat, this experience takes place from the beach, where guests walk the coastline, cast into the surf and enjoy the Pacific side of Baja at a slower, more local pace.
The experience is guided and beginner-friendly. You do not need to be an expert angler to enjoy it. Your guide will help with basic casting, reading the surf, understanding beach conditions and choosing the best available fishing area for the day.
The experience also includes access in a Can-Am Defender 4×4, giving guests a more adventurous way to reach selected coastal fishing zones when conditions and route allow.
This is a great option for guests who want a fishing experience without deep-sea travel, seasickness or a full boat charter.

1. MEET AT OMEGA TOURS OFFICE
Your experience starts at Omega Tours office in Todos Santos.
Guests meet directly at our office. Local transportation from selected hotels, villas or Airbnbs in Todos Santos, El Pescadero or Cerritos Beach may be added as an optional add-on.
2. 4×4 ACCESS TO THE FISHING AREA
Travel from Omega Tours office toward the selected fishing area in a Can-Am Defender 4×4.
The exact beach or coastal zone may vary depending on wind, swell, tide, sand conditions and fishing activity.
3. GEAR SETUP & BASIC INSTRUCTION
Your guide will help prepare the professional rods, reels and gear.
Guests receive basic instruction on surf casting, safety, beach movement and what to expect.
4. GUIDED SURF CASTING
Cast from the shore and fish selected areas along the beach.
The guide may adjust the spot, technique or direction depending on tide, swell, wind and activity.
5. COASTAL FISHING EXPERIENCE
Enjoy the Pacific scenery, beach atmosphere and the possibility of catching roosterfish, jack crevalle, sierra, pompano or other surf species.
6. FOOD & REFRESHMENTS
Enjoy breakfast burritos, coffee, water and snacks as part of the experience.
7. TEQUILA TASTING AFTER FISHING
After the fishing portion is finished, adults 18 and older may enjoy a relaxed cultural tequila tasting.
No alcohol is served before or during the fishing activity.
8. RETURN TO OMEGA TOURS OFFICE
After the experience, guests return to Omega Tours office in Todos Santos.
Guests who added local transportation will continue with the confirmed drop-off according to their booking details.

The companion / child option is ideal for guests who want to come along, enjoy the beach, take photos, watch the fishing experience, enjoy burritos, coffee, snacks and the coastal atmosphere without participating as a full angler.
This makes the experience easier for couples, families and groups where only some guests want to fish.

Fishing is part of Baja’s local culture, but the ocean must be treated with care. Guests should follow guide instructions, respect local rules, avoid littering and handle fish responsibly.
Some fish may be released depending on the species, size, condition and guide recommendation.
Roosterfish are especially valued as sport fish, and catch and release is strongly recommended when targeting them.
