The Old Port / Puerto Viejo Cliff Hike is one of the most beautiful local hikes near Todos Santos.
This coastal route is known for its Pacific Ocean views, cliffside scenery, desert trails and connection to the old coastal history of the area. The hike takes place near Punta Lobos, a traditional fishing beach where local pangas and fishermen are still part of the daily landscape.
Unlike a simple beach walk, this experience gives you elevation, viewpoints, natural terrain and dramatic coastal scenery. You can see the Pacific Ocean from above, walk through desert-style trails and enjoy one of the most photo-friendly outdoor routes in the Todos Santos area.

This is not an extreme hike, but guests should be comfortable walking on natural terrain, dirt trails, rocks, sand and uneven surfaces.

Guests meet directly at our office in town. Local transportation from selected hotels, villas or Airbnbs in Todos Santos, El Pescadero or Cerritos Beach may be added as an optional add-on.
2. RIDE TO PUNTA LOBOS / OLD PORT AREA
Transportation from Omega Tours office to Punta Lobos is included.
This is where the adventure begins. Punta Lobos is one of the most iconic coastal areas in Todos Santos and the gateway to the Old Port / Puerto Viejo route.
3. ARRIVAL & TRAIL BRIEFING
Arrive near the Punta Lobos and Old Port / Puerto Viejo coastal area.
Your guide will give a short introduction to the route, safety, trail conditions and what to expect during the hike.
4. GUIDED COASTAL HIKE
Begin the hike through natural terrain with desert scenery, rocky sections, open views and Pacific-side landscapes.
The guide may adjust the pace or route depending on group ability, weather and trail conditions.
5. OLD PORT / PUERTO VIEJO VIEWPOINTS
Enjoy some of the best coastal views near Todos Santos.
Depending on the route and group ability, the hike may include viewpoints over the old port area, Punta Lobos beach, cliffs and the Pacific Ocean.
6. PHOTO STOPS & LOCAL CONTEXT
Stop for photos and local context along the way.
Your guide can share information about the area, the coastline, the fishing beach and the natural surroundings.
7. BURRITOS, WATER & SNACKS
Enjoy breakfast burritos, bottled water and light snacks as part of the experience.
8. TEQUILA TASTING AFTER THE HIKE
After the hiking portion is finished, adults 18 and older may enjoy a relaxed cultural tequila tasting.
No alcohol is served before or during the hike.
9. RETURN TO OMEGA TOURS OFFICE
After the experience, Omega Tours provides transportation back to Omega Tours office in Todos Santos.
Guests who added local transportation will continue with the confirmed drop-off according to their booking details.
